Greg joined the world of financial services in 2015, leaving behind a career in rehabilitation and medical sales. Some would find this an odd transition, but the two things people cherish and have a desire to protect most are their money and their health. That said, the success of a financial plan relies on the same factors as a successful treatment plan: setting goals, establishing expectations, the sharing of good advice, follow through and having someone you trust hold you accountable to your goals. Greg’s family and personal stories have instilled in him a belief in the power of planning and preparing for the future with a purpose.
Professionally, Greg is working towards completing his Certified Financial Planner designation and is a member of the local Advocis chapter. He is also a volunteer member of the Patient and Family Advisor Council at the Regional Cancer Centre, offering insights from the patient perspective that is helping to shape decisions with the patient’s best interests in mind. Throughout the winter months you may also find him behind the bench at local rink coaching minor hockey in the KAMHA system.
Currently, Greg and his wife, Amy, call Kingston home along with their two active children. When not at work or the rink, the Browns enjoy time with friends and family, honing their skills on the golf course, soccer pitch, basketball court, baseball diamond or ski hills around Mont Tremblant.
