Dan began his career as a Financial Planner in 2010 and has grown his practice by building strong client relationships. He aims to set himself apart from other advisors by focusing on a holistic financial planning process and client education.
Dan received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2002, majoring in Finance and Marketing. He followed that up with a Master in Theological Studies in 2004. Prior to joining Caldwell Advisory, he worked as a Media Strategist for seven years advising some of the biggest brands in the world, including TD Bank Financial Group.
Dan believes in constantly improving and updating his knowledge to better serve his clients, which is why he completed his CFP designation, his CHS (Certified Health Insurance) designation and is working towards his CIM (Chartered Investment Manager) designation. He has also played an active role in supporting the financial industry through his position as Vice President for the Kingston chapter of Advocis®, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada.
Married and with young children, Dan and his family call Kingston home. Away from work, he is actively involved in his church and enjoys basketball and snowboarding.
